Impact Healing was founded in 2012 out of passion for people and medicine. What was then a one woman operation, has now grown into a family owned wellness clinic with the ultimate goal of treating the body as a whole and not solely your ailments. Acupuncture works to make sure that the entire body functions together as a single unit by addressing all your needs, not only focusing on what hurts. With the help of acupuncture, cupping, and nutritional therapy we can alleviate your immediate pain, give you back your energy, and give you the tools to make a positive and healthy lifestyle.
Sasha May (Owner/ Senior Acupuncturist)
Sasha May opened the clinic doors in 2012, Sasha’s career began in Odessa, Ukraine where she attended the Odessa Medical school before immigrating to the United States. Once in the states, Sasha spent the following decade successfully building a career as a Real Estate broker and then as a financial planner. Sasha discovered Traditional Chinese medicine when her daughter was diagnosed with a walking disorder. As traditional western pediatricians and neurologists couldn’t provide any tangible long-term solutions for her daughter, she found great success in acupuncture. Watching as acupuncture helped her daughter when nothing else would, Sasha left her career as a financial planner and attended the Traditional School of Chinese Medicine in 2012. Since graduating and opening her own business, Sasha has helped thousands of patients find relief from their pain and illnesses. If you would like to read my full story click the button below.
Mary Grace Catalan (Front Desk/ Administrative)
My name is Mary Grace Catalan and I am the virtual assistant for Impact Healing. My role is the Administrative Assistant and I am most known for my optimistic charm and smile. Although I am physically in the Philippines, I assist Sasha & Michelle in the day to day operations of our clinic including taking inquiries, phone calls, scheduling, and greeting the patients as they check-in for their treatments. I believe the key to a successful office is Mindfulness. When I am not working, I spend my time doing community services in my home town such as clean-up drives, blood drives, medical missions, and feeding programs. I believe in taking every opportunity to do good for everyone around me and to not harm either the doer or the benefactor. My husband, two sons, and I love to travel and play outdoor games such as badminton, volleyball, and table tennis. I look forward to seeing you in the clinic!
Michelle May (Office Manager)
My name is Michelle May and I am the office manager for Impact Healing (and Sasha’s daughter). My first introduction to Acupuncture was at the age of eight. At that time, I had seen every podiatrist and physical therapist in the front range area for my severe calf pain caused by my toe walking. Each visit I was recommended surgery to lengthen a portion of the Achilles tendon which has its own set of risks and was the least favorable option. My mother had been recommended acupuncture as a sort of last resort option (what else did we have to lose?) and to our surprise, within five to ten treatments my leg pain greatly subsided and I was walking more flat-footed than ever before. The treatments brought back functionality back to my legs, feet, toes, and daily life with no more midnight disturbances from searing leg pain. Being so young, I didn’t have as much of an appreciation for acupuncture as I do now. Having watched my mother’s journey in opening the clinic and treating a variety of illnesses, it has inspired me to follow suit and I am currently studying for my master’s degree in Acupuncture at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. When I am not in the clinic or classroom, you can find me on road trips traveling with my partner and dog.
